Walking the dog = getting slim

You know it’s not very often that I see fat people walking dogs, I guess it’s because dog owners generally lead a really healthy lifestyle.

They’re more active, spend lots of time outside with their poochies, and probably eat alot better too.

But what if you’re dog is not the best behaved? I’ve been there. My two german shepherds used to be an embarrassment. I hated walking them because they would always drag me, and if another dog or worse, a cat, crossed our paths, I was in big trouble! I just couldn’t control them effectively. It was a stressful experience just going for a walk around the block, let alone a run on the beach!

Fortunately, my buddy Jill put me onto an awesome online dog training course by a Kiwi named ‘Doggy Dan’. His techniques are simple, straight to the point and surprisingly got me results really quickly! I couldn’t be happier, they sit and stay when they’re told and we can go for long strolls with zero stress.

My favorite slimming supplement this month is Adiphene

I know, I know, I haven’t written a good blog post for a while about weight loss supplements.

The main reason is because I’m not really a huge fan of them. I’m a big believer in a good, balanced healthy diet with lots of leafy green veggies and lean meat, plus a great exercise program of hiit and heavy weights.

But there are some great products out there that aid the human body to act in a more optimal way. And one of those products is Adiphene.

Slimming with warts. It’s a challenge!

I have a theory. It’s harder to lose weight if you have warts.

Strange? Let me explain.

My quick slimming routine to start the day

Today, I thought I’ve share my three favorite exercises to get the fat melting off. The beauty of these is that they take very little time at all too. Just a few minutes in the morning and you’re done (don’t forget to warm up and stretch after though :)

#1 – Jump Squats. Done correctly, these will work your whole lower body and your core as you support yourself. Smash out as many as you can in 30 seconds. Your heart rate will climb quickly, kick starting your metabolism for the day, and the muscle growth from rapid jumps will help keep you burning for a few days!

#2 – Push ups. Do as many as you can in 30 seconds. Keep that heart rate up, and tone your triceps and chest. Who needs a boob job!

#3 – Skipping. Quick as you can for 30 seconds.

And stretch it out. This quick routine is an awesome starter to the day when you’re in a rush. Mix it up with lunges, boxing, and jogging on the spot. And watch the fat melt away.

Popping Pills or Hitting the Gym?

It is just me, or does it seem like every day there is a new weight loss wonder drug being thrust in our faces? I’m constantly seeing online ads for all these weird products, things like UniqueHoodia, Raspberry Ketones, green tea pills, blah, blah, blah!

What ever happened to good old exercise and a sensible diet? I haven’t always lived the healthiest lifestyle. I still love the odd beer, and I can resist a slice of super supreme loaded with anchovies! But I work out, a mix of HIIT cardio and heavy weights, and an overall sensible balanced diet. And that does the trick for me just nicely. I’m not dropping pounds like a Biggest Loser contestant, but slowly and steadily I’m reshaping at a healthy, sustainable pace.

It’s interesting to read how some of these wonder drugs work. For example, there’s one called the Phen375 Fat Burner which is made with natural ingredients, many of which have been used in Chinese medicine to control hunger and boost metabolism. The descriptions actually make sense, so I’m kind of tempted to give it a go. Heavy weights and HIIT already fire my metabolism so I don’t know if pills will boost it any more, I guess if you were just doing low intensity cardio, a metabolism booster might be useful. If I do give it a try, I’ll keep you all posted!
